Plumbing fixtures may seem like a small detail, but the right pieces act like jewelry for a room — they finish the space and bring personality. In our new home, I selected several pieces from KALLISTA’s One Collection for the girls’ bathrooms, the guest bath, and the laundry room. The result is modern, minimalist, and refined: clean lines, thoughtful finishes, and reliable function that complement each room’s design.

I chose the One Collection because its contemporary geometry felt versatile for every space, from vanities to shower fittings. The collection’s restrained silhouettes translate across finishes, letting each room read cohesive while still reflecting individual character.
Girls’ Bathrooms

Winnie and Sutton share a bedroom with separate bathrooms, a layout we created by removing a dividing wall. For their bathrooms I wanted something timeless yet youthful — pieces that will grow with them. I selected the One Collection Gooseneck Faucet in a bright nickel silver finish. Its clean gooseneck profile pairs beautifully with the two-tone metal of the mirrors and cabinet pulls, and the faucet works seamlessly with the Perfect Sink to create an elegant, easy-to-clean vanity. The result is minimalist yet warm — perfect for growing kids who still appreciate a polished aesthetic.

Guest Bath

For the guest bath I wanted something a little more eclectic and vintage-inspired while remaining sophisticated. This bathroom sits between two rooms in a Jack-and-Jill configuration and serves both as a guest bath and, at the moment, as part of an office. For a finish with personality, I chose unlacquered brass on the One Gooseneck Cross-Handle Sink Faucet. Unlacquered brass develops a natural patina over time, which gives the room a lived-in, vintage charm. You can choose to let it age gracefully for character or polish it to restore its original luster — both approaches work beautifully and make the finish adaptable to future style changes.

Laundry Room

The laundry room is fundamentally functional, but that doesn’t mean it can’t look intentional. We kept the layout largely the same, refreshed the cabinetry with paint, swapped countertops, and added a modern sink. For a balance of practicality and refined style, I installed the One Collection Deck-Mount Bridge Faucet, which offers a high, sleek spout and strong performance for laundry tasks. To increase versatility, I added the One Sidespray in a gunmetal finish. The gunmetal provides cool undertones that contrast the warmer nickel and brass finishes used elsewhere in the house, tying the room into a contemporary palette while remaining highly functional.
