Chicken Salad with Everything Bagel Seasoning

2018 brought us the rise of “everything but the bagel” flavoring, and since then that bold, savory blend has been everywhere. I fell in love with Tessemae’s new Everything Bagel Ranch and it inspired a fresh, simple recipe: Everything Bagel Chicken Salad. This version is bright, crunchy and easy to make—perfect for lunches, picnics, or a light dinner.

I’m a fan of Tessemae’s for their clean-ingredient approach, and their Everything Bagel Ranch is a favorite for adding instant savory flavor without complicated prep. The ranch brings those classic everything-bagel seasonings—sesame, poppy, onion and garlic—into a creamy dressing that pairs perfectly with tender chicken, dried cherries and toasted walnuts.

Another trend I’ve been enjoying is sweet potato toast. It’s a nutritious, naturally gluten-free base for toppings, and it complements the savory-sweet balance of this chicken salad beautifully. I like to serve the chicken salad on warm sweet potato slices for a satisfying, colorful meal that’s memorable and quick to assemble.
