Step-by-step

Step one: Prepare the pan

Line a 9×13-inch pan with parchment paper, leaving an overhang (a sling) on two opposite sides to make removal easy. Set the pan aside.

Step two: Make the peanut butter base

In a medium saucepan, combine 1 cup peanut butter, 2 tablespoons coconut oil, ½ cup maple syrup, and ¼ cup coconut sugar. Heat over medium, stirring occasionally, until the mixture begins to bubble and the sugar dissolves, about 3–5 minutes.
